Fan OptiDrive™ VFDs

Deck OptiDrive™ VFD

Monitors and adjusts deck motor speed for optimal separation performance fine-tuning and reduced power consumption. Eliminates the mechanical spring pulley assembly. All electronics housed in a dust-tight, wash-down NEMA 12 enclosure Programmed at the factory for out-of-the-box use.

Instrumentation

figure15Allows all Oliver equipment to be set precisely and accurately with less operator effort. Airflow gauges help adjust each fan speed, for more continuous and even product flotation. Electronic Tachometer is provides digital readout of eccentric (shake) speed. Angle Indicator scales show both deck side tilt and end raise adjustments.Very useful tools in setup or when switching between products. Standard on Hi-Caps and Maxi-Cap Gravity Separators and Destoners. Hole saw included for air gauge installation.

Power Blender

figure16Rapidly conveys good product to the discharge hopper, improving capacity and eliminating wear and strain. Significantly extends operating life and promotes smooth, trouble-free operation. 1HP motor included.

Accu-Flo Feed Gate

Accu-Flo-Feed-GateOn-off pneumatic actuator where the open position can be infinitely adjusted for uniform feed rate. Uses a manual screw adjustment for flow control and pressurized air line for positive shut-off. Remote control prevents material piling on the deck at machine shutdown. Available on all Oliver machines.

Automated Feed Gate

Automated-Feed-GateContinuously adjustable feed aperture for a nearly infinite and completely repeatable amount of feed control. Also completely shuts off feed at machine shutdown to prevent unwanted material piling. Controlled by touch screen panel on a Voyager or Maxi-Cap Platinum Gravity Separator. Available on Maxi Cap Platinum and Voyager Gravity Separators.

Counter Balance

Counter-BalanceAn assembly of counter-rotating mass synchronized to significantly reduce vibration transmitted by gravity separators or destoners. Will increase the operational life of high-wear machine parts such as bearings, shafts, etc. Recommended for machines installed on or above-grade floors or other locations without adequate foundation to reduce apparent vibration. May require additional equipment if installed with Air Chest Divider option. Standard on all Maxi-Cap Gravity Separators and Destoners, Voyagers and Hi-Cap Master Series machines.

Dust Control

dust-control-1Three economical means of removing light contaminants before and after the particles are delivered onto the separation deck. Greatly reduces the threat of environmental, processing and maintenance problems inherent in product flows that contain dust, chaff and other contaminants.

Aspirating Feeders

Dust-ControlAspirating Feeders convey product dust and chaff to an in-plant dust control system or an Oliver two-bag filter system. Can be ordered with fans, drives and bag filter system, and are capable of handling most mild dust problems.

Dust Hoods

Dust-HoodEnclose the entire separation deck, and remove all airborne dust from product flow. Available as partial and complete dust hoods. Both include built-in exhaust air adjustment controls for precise balance of the incoming and exhaust air volume. Both must be connected to an in-house dust control system. Includes internal illumination for visual inspection.

Flush Mount Filters

Flush-Mount-FiltersCleaner, more compact, non-protruding filters. Heavier, better built units with stainless steel screen replacing brass. Fit older machines with very minor attachment modification. Install into rather than on top of existing cutout, to reduce damage that can cut airflow and compromise performance, leak impurities or create dead airflow spots. Bolt hold downs replace hand screws to meet safety guidelines to cover motors and belt drives. Standard on all new Oliver machines, retrofittable on all older ones.

Rock Trap / Discharge Gates

Rock-Trap-Discharge-GatesHeavy contaminants side discharge gate allows precise metering of heavy discharge and easy periodic flush (discharge) of heavy material accumulating in rock traps or on the high side. Spring-loaded design with redundant adjustable wheel. Infinitely adjustable for particle size. Available for all Hi-Cap Destoners and Gravity Separators.
