Pre-course preparation

Three steps to deliver a smooth training experience.

Install and test Microsoft Teams ahead of time.
The training will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. You do not need an account to join — just click the link via the web browser of the Teams app.If you are new to Teams or haven’t used it recently, we recommend testing it ahead of time on the device you’ll be using for the training. Below are a few resources you can utilize to help familiarize yourself with Microsoft Teams:

Join early
Teams allows you to log in 15 minutes before the start time. We encourage you to utilize this time to test your connection and equipment to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Meeting etiquette
- Turn on your camera, if possible. It helps keep the session interactive and puts a face to your name.
- Keep your microphone muted when not speaking to reduce background noise.
- Test the chat feature before we begin. We will be using it for group interaction and questions.

Please Note: This sessions recording will not be shared. We record for learning purposes of our staff. We will share the power point slides after the course date.

We encourage all participants to join on time and ensure their technology is working in advance. As this is a live, instructor-led training course, we’re focused on delivering the best possible experience in real time and are not able to provide individual tech support during the session.

We ask that all attendees are respectful of their classmates’ time. While we understand that unexpected items can arise, we are unable to accommodate late attendees by providing recordings or recaps. Additionally, our team will be focused on the delivery of a quality educational experience for all attendees and will be unable to troubleshoot during the training.
